In the wake of the Black Arms invasion, Shadow the Hedgehog has a decision to make. He has discovered the truth about his past and the full potential of his power as the Ultimate Lifeform. The world is entering a dangerous new chapter, long ravaged by violence and in desperate need of heroism.
Doing what he believes to be right, Shadow starts down a path that will transform him from a wandering anti-hero to the champion of peace he was always designed to be. Along the way, he will be forced to learn his own lessons and forge his own moral code, guided by the Guardian Units of Nations and its stern commander.
